Telly, Joe, and the guys did a great job converting our downstairs half bathroom and laundry room space into a bathroom & shower and more efficient laundry area. While they were here, we had them turn our old music room into a brand new beautiful tv room / music room, complete with shelves built into the wall! The guys worked with us, our inaccurate calculations, and our plan revisions to give us exactly what we wanted and needed, providing useful insights and ideas along the way, and adding extra touches to our room's decor. They always showed up on time, kept the area safe for our cats, and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. This was our second project with them, as they did a fine job on our kitchen a few years ago!

"My wife and I are very happy with the results; which meet all expectations. Best comment I can make- I would recommend Big Dog to anyone (I never give recommendations!). From start to finish, we were always on the same page. Plus, the Team was very flexible in finding alternative (same or better) solutions to any issues they encountered. Best of all, there was no games with the agreed upon price before the work started. Telly stated upfront- ‘…not the cheapest, not the most expensive, but worth it.’ From experience, I can now attest to that. Full experience with the Team was very reassuring, especially considering the main area of your house is down to the studs and subfloor… Here is the best part- The Team committed to gutting and rebuilding a full kitchen and entryway in 2 weeks and they delivered!! "Where do I begin? Each and every one of the folks behind Big Dog Construction is dedicated to exceptional work and honest business practices. And as a bonus, they’re just all-around great human beings. We hired the company to do a complete kitchen renovation, wall removal and overhaul of an adjacent playroom/den. From jump, Kelly kept us informed and was super-responsive when we had questions about our project. Telly is knowledgeable, upfront and just a pleasure to work with. His recommendations on cabinet and counter vendors were great too. He and his crew arrived exactly when they said they would every day and were dead-on accurate about how long the project would take. Project Leader Mario and the rest of the guys were amazing in every way and kept the house as clean as possible even on the messiest days of the project. Throughout the job, we were so impressed at the level of pride taken over even the smallest details—things like pull/knob styles, symmetry around windows (even in an older home where symmetry can be elusive), tile installation, molding and much more. Our new kitchen and playroom are even more beautiful than we imagined. I will call Big Dog Construction for future jobs in a heartbeat."

"From the first phone call all the way until the end of our kitchen renovation with wall removal Big Dog Construction was there for us with any questions, suggestions or concerns we had. Telly was always a phone call or text away. He replied immediately. Telly came on a Tuesday morning and by the next morning we had our estimate. Telly then gave us a start and finish date (which I couldn’t believe how fast he said it would be done). We had a wall removed to make an open floor plan and we also had a kitchen renovation. They started and finished as planned. The crew were very knowledgeable and their craftsmanship was absolutely amazing. They came everyday on time and cleaned up each night before they left. Mario, the crew foreman was also there for any questions or suggestions. They went above and beyond our expectations. All I can say to Telly and his crew is THANK YOU for making my dream kitchen with open floor plan come true. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. I plan on using them again for future projects I have."

"When we bought my grandparents’ house a few years back, we knew it would eventually need work. With the exception of a few updates in the late 1980s, much of what was in the house was from when the house was built in 1960. We knew it would be a big project as we wanted to remodel our kitchen, both bathrooms, refinish our floors (and stairs), replace all the interior doors, re-tile our entryway, enlarge our master bedroom and put in a walk-in closet. We brought in many contractors for estimates, but each one was more expensive than the next. Then we brought in Big Dog Construction. Telly worked with us to formulate a plan to do all the updates we wanted to do and keep it within our budget. Telly and his crew were very accommodating, planning the renovations in such a way that allowed us to relocate to a different part of our house, with our pets, for the four week period. Mario and his team did an exceptional job, they arrived on time every day and cleaned up before leaving every night, even staying late a few times to complete what they were working on. They were professional, courteous and knowledgeable, and any questions or concerns we had were addressed immediately and if they couldn’t help, it was escalated to Telly. They were even flexible to our last minute changes. Overall it was a very positive experience and we were very pleased with the quality of work they did. We look forward to using Big Dog Construction for future projects and we would highly recommend them to friends and family."

"It is a pleasure to work with professionals who take pride in their craft from start to finish. I was very impressed with the care and attention to detail that Telly, Mario, Richie and Miguel gave to every aspect of the work. The custom shelving in the broomer which is now a fabulous pantry pulls out so that I can reach everything and was measured and built to match the heights of my most often used supplies, The cleaning, degreasing and staining was thorough not only on the outside, but inside as well. The rebuild of the space for the new double wall oven and the corner shelving that lines up the upper and lower cabinets are so seamlessly matched that they look like they always should have, Also, the shelves have the same gorgeous new granite as the counters. Saving the best original details was a cost savings and a pleasure; we all enjoyed discovering that our black hinges and knobs were actually copper! Restoration can be wonderful. Our kitchen is truly beautiful, vastly more functional than before and a joy to cook and hang out in. We highly recommend Big Dog and are happy to work with them again, Do open all the boxes before you start if you buy tile from Home Depot – or anyone else. We bought the back splash ahead and the different boxes didn’t match despite the identical numbers. We are grateful for Mario’s noticing the problem and working extra to solve it. We are glad to work with people who look out for us in every part of the renovation such as when the electrician left packaging on our oven door and we couldn’t get the door back on after removing it, -call Telly. When you hire Big Dog they will see you through everything from start to finish and be the first one you want when you need help in the future. Thank you Telly, Mario, Richie and Miguel!"
